Waterproofing your laminate floors could very well assist in keeping the flooring looking like new. 2. Pull the edges of your laminate floor up around the walls. Apply a line of epoxy glue to the outer edge and press down, sealing the outside. Allow the epoxy glue to dry for at least 12 hours.

3. Apply floor sealant, using a paint roller. Go in one direction together with the roller to get a smooth finish. Cover the entire floor, like the edges. Allow the sealant to dry for 24 hours.

4. Apply a second, and then a third layer in the sealant to the floor. Allow 24 hours between coats.
